How do I register my car club?

How do I participate if I’m not part of a Car Club?

  • Pre-registration is open to heritage car clubs by invite only.
  • All other participant vehicles must plan to arrive on Sunday, August 17 between 8:00 am and 9:30 am.
  • Space is limited, and first-come, first-serve.

Is there a cost to enter my car club and/or vehicle?

  • There is no fee for vehicles to participate in Rock 102 Show & Shine Downtown Car Show.
  • Vendor stalls, contests, raffles, giveaways, advertising and selling of any materials require prior permission from the Show Coordinator(s). Vendor rates will apply.

How do I register my business as a vendor?

  • Registration is open from Monday, March 10, 2025 to Sunday, July 27, 2025.

What is the load-in process when I arrive with my vehicle / business at the Downtown Car Show?

  • Pre-registered Car Club Load-In: 6:30 am – 8:00 am
    Load-in from gate closest to your club’s reserved space(s) (G2-G7).
    Spots not guaranteed after 8:00 am.
  • Vendor Load-In: 7:00 am – 9:30 am
    G1 is exclusively designated for vendor load-in.
    Vendors may and are encouraged to enter from an alternate gate if it is closer to your business’s reserved space(s) (G2-G7).
  • Non-registered Participant Vehicle Load-In: 8:00 am – 9:30 am
    Load-in from gates G2-G7.
    Space is limited, first-come, first-serve.
    Gates close at 9:30 am. Late entry is not permitted.
  • ALL PARTICIPANTS must stay in place until 4:00pm
    Any car club, individual vehicle or vendor that attempts to leave before 4:00 pm will not be invited to participate next year.

What about road closures?

  • Effective Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 4:00 am to 5:30 pm.
  • Roads will be closed in downtown Saskatoon from 1st Avenue to 4th Avenue and between 20th Street and 23rd Street.
  •  Downtown patrons, business and residents should plan to park elsewhere and arrange pick-ups / alternate transportation, as needed.
  • Any vehicles parked within the road closure area will be towed off-site at no expense to the vehicle owners starting Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 4:00 am.

How do I find my vehicle if it was towed?

  • To find out where towed vehicles are parked, visit the ROCK 102 Information Tent at the corner of 3rd Avenue and 21st Street on Sunday, August 17, 2025 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
  • You can also call Rawlco Radio at 306-934-2222 on Monday, August 18, 2025 during regular business hours.

Can I bring my family and friends to enjoy the Rock 102 Show & Shine Downtown Car Show?

  • Rock 102 Show & Shine Downtown Car Show is Sunday, August 17.
  • It is one of Western Canada’s largest and attracts people from all over the province.
  • Bring your family and friends to check out hundreds of classic and custom vehicles, food trucks, games and more!
  • Plus, Rock 102 is live on location.
  • Show hours are from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Is there an entry fee for spectators?

  • There is no entry fee for spectators.

Can I bring my dog?

  • Dogs are welcome in all outdoor spaces within the Rock 102 Show & Shine Downtown Car Show footprint.
  • Dogs must be leashed, and owners are responsible for clean up.

ABOUT

Rock 102 Show & Shine Weekend began in 1982,
and has been one of Saskatoon’s pillar summer events
for over four decades.

The Rock 102 Show & Shine Downtown Car Show
on Sunday, August 17, 2025,
is one of Western Canada’s largest,
and attracts people from all over the province. 

Hundreds of classic and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles
will take over 14 city blocks in Downtown Saskatoon
from 1st Avenue to 4th Avenue
and between 20th Street and 23rd Street.

The community and participants are reminded
to drive safely and make public safety a priority
throughout Show & Shine Weekend.

ROAD CLOSURES

Effective Sunday, August 17, 2025
4:00 am – 5:30 pm

14 city blocks in downtown Saskatoon
from 1st Avenue to 4th Avenue
and between 20th Street and 23rd Street

Downtown patrons, business and residents should
plan to park elsewhere,
arrange for alternate transportation,
and get a safe ride home.

Vehicles should not be left downtown overnight.
Any vehicles parked within the road closure area
will be towed off-site at no expense to the vehicle owners
starting Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 4:00 am.
