Did the NHL GM's make the right ruling on hits to the head? (Refs can assess a minor or major penalty for a blindside head shot)

My thinking is that these players believe they can get away with whatever they want. Maybe they need monthly therapy sessions lol or maybe they just need to be brought back to reality where 'normal' people don't go around giving other people head shots....I understand that this is a rough sport...but then keep it a sport! Since when is injuring someone for a piece of rubber a sport?!

Back to Reality --> Give them community service, maybe like on Seinfeld, make him be the butler to the guy who is now needing time off because of someones IDIOTIC actions!
