SuperRun 2008 Western Canadian Nationals is the Premiere outdoor car show in Western Canada!
This charitable event is hosted by the Car Clubs of Saskatchewan and draws participants from throughout North America to our fine city.
SuperRun 2008 will again support physically challenged children and adults by donating net proceeds to Camp Easter Seal.
An anticipated 1000 plus HOT RODS, ANTIQUES, CLASSICS, MUSCLE CARS, CUSTOMS and SPECIALTY VEHICLES will be in attendance from as far away as California.

One of Saskatoon’s most popular summer attractions is back!
Folkfest 2008: “One World – Many Faces” runs August 14th, 15th and 16th throughout Saskatoon.
For three days Saskatoon comes alive with the sights, sounds and tastes of our ethnic heritage with sixteen pavilions located throughout Saskatoon. Each Pavilion features cultural displays, dance, song, food, folklore, souvenirs and more.
Folkfest is a three-day festival running Thursday & Friday, from 5:00 p.m. until midnight, and on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until midnight.

It’s the 19th annual Fringe Festival in Saskatoon July 31st to August 9th.
Independent theatre companies from across Canada, around the globe and right here at home come together in Saskatoon to share stories and performances like you won't see anywhere else.
All tickets are $12 and available at the Fringe Box Office.
All outdoor entertainment is free or by donation. Saskatoon is a favorite place for theatrical theatre and this years Fringe Festival features entertainment for all ages.

The Saskatoon Ex is back from August 5th to 10th at Prairieland Park.
The Exhibition Parade in downtown Saskatoon begins at 10am on Tuesday, August 5th, and the Ex opens at 4pm that day. Wednesday to Sunday the gates open at noon and are open until 11pm.
This year there are 7 new rides, including the Double Shock and the Mega Drop!
Rock 102 will be hosting the Rock 102 Diamond Dig at their tent. Stop on by, it’s $2 for a scoop, and you could win yourself a diamond from Bateman Jewelers!
Saskatoon Opera Presents "Rigoletto"

Behind the clown lurks a killer… but who will have the last laugh? Watch as the life of the clowning jester Rigoletto turns to tragedy in this operatic masterpiece by Giuseppe Verdi. Saskatoon Opera celebrates its 30th Anniversary with the production of one of the most beloved operas of all time. Rigoletto runs from July 26th to August 1st in Saskatoon Opera’s brand-new home in the Frank and Ellen Remai Arts Centre.
