It was very cool to see the Sasaktoon episode of Gene Simmons Family Jewels! Sure, it was rather odd seeing a mountain landscape used for b-footage, but whatever. OK...I have to explain the outfits...since they didn't explain it on the show! Gene often wears a red onesie on the show. It turns out, Shannon picked them up for him here in Saskatoon from a company called Jammeez. We got a couple of them for ourselves and wore them when they were here. Gene and Shannon got a kick out of them when they showed up...but there was no explanation on the final edit of the show.

We've teamed up with Danielle and the crew downtown at Coldstone Creamery, where we were able to make our own specialty ice cream! Say hello to 'Shack and Watson's Gooey Goodness', the new flavour at Coldstone! It's the best damn ice cream treat you'll ever wrap your lips around! Cake batter ice cream, skor chunks, peanut butter cup chunks, smothered in chocolate and caramel sauce!!! Damn, it's delicious. If you buy our ice cream, a part of the proceeds will go towards ROCK 102's Caged for the Cure for Prostate Cancer.

I was chattin' with my Mom the other night, telling her about the Green Men at Canucks game. She hasn't watched much hockey this spring so I startled googling some of their pics to show her some of the fine antics. You gotta admit, these guys are good. Damn good. The Sea Bass sign from game 1 of the Cup was top notch but I've yet to find a picture of it. The Canucks should really hire these guys cause I know they're scrounging cash for tickets for the remainder of the Cup finals. Here's some of their best work!

OMG! I would give my front teeth to have this thing. See, in my odd little world....there is nothing better than watching sports on the tube while enjoying the great outdoors. I've been razzed on numerous occassions because I've lugged a 27" old school TV out to campsites to watch playoff hockey. C'mon, let's be honest, is there anything better than being out at the campsite, under the stars, playing cards by the campfire, swillin' wobblies, while watching the Habs beat the Bruins!??!

Seriously, I'm trying to convince Shack that if I rasie a certain amount of money during Caged for the Cure, he'll cut his hair! We'll be locked in a cage at the Centre Thursday and Friday, for 36 hours straight, in hopes of raising 50 grand for the Les and Irene Dube Urology Centre of Health at St. Paul's Hospital. One of our 'Cage Matches' will be me trying to raise enough cash during a certain period of time...and if I do it...say goodbye to the long locks of 40 years!! Listen in for details.

I would have been much happier to have been wrong on the Boston/Montreal series. I really expected the B's to use their size to their advantage a heck of a lot more than they did. Subban and Price are becoming my new Hab heroes. Anyways...I went 7 for 8 on predictions for the 1st round. The playoffs have been lights out awesome so far. Who the hell do I cheer for now? I guess I'll hop in the Vancouver bandwagon cause this country deserves the Cup on Canadian soil. Get your crap together Luongo!

It's over...it's done...it's finito! I've paid off the Superbowl bet for the third straight year...and I'm really not overly happy about. But, a bet is a bet...and I lost.
