The Tattoo Removal FInalists Are....
With the help of Dr. Rose Genesis from Nirvana Laser Hair and Skin Clinic on 8th...Shack, Gregger, Sheri and I have nailed down the five finalists for our tattoo removal giveaway! Thanks to everyone who sent in their pics...unfortunately we can't pick everybody. We took a number of things into consideration when picking our top five. That included ugliness, size, story and comments from friends, family and listeners.

Next week...we'll speak to one finalist each day to have them plead their case as to why they think they are the most deserving person to win the tattoo removal. Then...the five of us will pick and call our winner on Monday, the 30th.

I will make this as short as possible! At age 17 I was pregnant and I though I was in love. To show our supposed love to eachother we though "Hey lets get a tattoo on our ring finger cause we're going to be together forever!" Well we got the tattoo, and not even a year after baby, we weren't even talking to each other. (Very bad situation!)
I recently got engaged to the man I an truly in love with! We've been together 7 years and finally tying the knot!!! When I show people my new engagement ring, all they can see is this big ugly tattoo underneath it. We are getting married in October and I would love nothing more than for him to have a nice, clean, tattoo free finger to put the ring on!
Please, Please, Please get this ugly tattoo off my finger!!!

Well lets just say one day in the summer I was drinking tequila and some random guy had a tattoo gun and I let him tattoo me. Very bad judgement on my behalf because I saw him tattoo two people before me and they were both horrible, therefore I knew it was going to be horrible. Anyways, apparently I asked for a "death sparrow".. its something from a brand of clothing that they sell at Schmatta... but it looks like a duck crossed with a snake, some say its a sea horse, others thing its a dead bird, I have gotten many other guesses on what is it. Not only is it just a bad tattoo, IT LOOKS LIKE A KINDERGARTEN DRAWING. You can see every line he made.

Wow.....I have a tattoo I would LOVE to get rid of. I also got mine when I was 16...and stupid. ;-) Mine is the same awful blue ink as yours but mine is a heart with arrows through it and a ribbon across the heart.....no it does not say my boyfriend's name....I was stupid...but not that stupid...it says "LOVE"....oh yes..."LOVE"! It is on my leg and when I wear shorts or a swimsuit it is right there for everyone to see....it is awful! I would love it if you choose me to get this "mistake" off my leg. I would be so grateful! I have attached a picture of my husbands horrible tattoo. He got this tattoo when he was 15 years old. He never really cared about it until we started to grow up and have responsibilities. I feel that it is making life harder for him when he is out in public - people stare at him and i think perspective employers discriminate against it. We have been talking about getting it removed lately and he mentioned that you guys had a contest on the radio and told me to send in a picture. Please remove this Tatoo from my son-in-law. He is going to be a new dad and loves tatoos but this is not a good example for his new baby. They do not have the money right now to do this and I would really love for him to have this removed as it is what they want. I think he deserves to win this. This is from a Mother in Law who thinks he is the greatest Son-in-Law on earth. Please help him out as he has so many wonderful Tatoos and this is one he doesn't want. PS He is talking me into getting one soon but it won't look like that one.

Oh my God. That is very sad. I feel bad for his wife and child who have to endure explaining that thing everytime they are at a soccer game or other event where it is possibly exposed. I can just imagine his pre-teen trying to explain it to her friends or worse, her teachers.

Ok, so there are some nasty tats here, but I think I might have to vote for the dot on the nose. I mean, out of all of these, this is the only one that didn't have some stupid lack of judgement behind it. I'd be choked if I accidentally got some stupid mark permanently placed on my body. All in all I think in the long run the 3 I would pick are
1) Shaye, cuz it's big and nasty. It'll cost a fortune to get it removed and who can actually afford that these days?
2) Jimmy, cuz you can't even really tell what they are anymore! They're black blobs... I'd hate them too!

3) Dave, cuz it's just plain stupid to tatto anyone's name to your body. Especially at a young age when things aren't 100% certain. I have 2 tattoo's myself and I love them, but I will never in my life get a name tattooed to my person, unless it's the names of my future children. I wouldn't even tatoo my spouse's name to my body, because even marriage isn't certain anymore!!

While I admit that many of these tattoos are BAD, take into consideration the amount of time and money to remove some of them. The larger ones (large red heart) are going to be more than $1000 and take many treatments and the smaller ones (tears) would not be as costly or take much time. As well, most of the tattoos could be covered up. I think Watson should choose one that would be hard to cover up and be of a moderate size to take full advantage of the $1000. I give my vote to Kelly!

Winner Should Be Colour/Size
Watson you should be looking at the size and the amount of colour in the tattoo. These people with the black inked tattoos or the small ones, would they really need the full thousand dollars of removal. NO not must likely. So that takes out the nose dot, the ring finger, the tears, and the birdy or ex's name. Look at the girl with the pink half heart tattoo, it could use the thousand dollars to remove it and probably going to have to pay some out of her pocket to finish the process. So why not give her the prize, and sorry everyone else but would your tattoo really going to cost that much to be removed, if so stay in the contest.
