What is this, 1817?
I can't possibly say how annoyed I get every Sunday night. And it's not because of the fact that other than football during the day and Family Guy at night, there's nothing on TV.
It's the fact that Saskatoon is so boomtown that we have a bylaw that says grocery stores can only stay open until 6pm. This law has inconvienced me so many times. And it's one of those things that I've had trouble remembering. I get to the doors at Superstore only to find them closed. Even Superstore! I can't be the only person that find Sunday night the best time to buy groceries. You want to buy stuff for the week ahead. You have nothing in your fridge after eating out all weekend.
I'm not sure of the reasoning behind this bylaw, but if it has to do with Sunday being a day of rest or family time or something, that's bull.
