Conflict In Georgia- What the Eff Is Going On Over There?

I've been a reporter for a few years now, but can't imagine anything like this. This Georgian reporter was nicked by a sniper's bullet while reporting on the Russian/Georgian conflict.

The media knows it's a major target in war zones, but still journalists head to the worst places on earth so that the rest of the world can know what's going on there. The media may get flack for being hard on some people, but not everyone's brave enough to do that

I've just started picking up on this dispute between Russia and neighboring Georgia (no, not the Peach state Georgia.) Russia thinks it should get control of a part of the small country that USED to be under Soviet Control. Just recently, Russia dropped some bombs and moved some troops in. 

So now the rest of the world is like, "oh no you didn't." The US is taking a particularily hard approach, with the Prez even DEMANDING Russia get the hell out of Georgia.

Insane. Reminds us how lucky we are to live here.
