Christmas Starts As Soon As It Gets Cold
So... I may or may not have put my Christmas tree up on Saturday, November 22nd. OKAY I DID. And my boyfriend sat on the couch, refusing to help, saying I was wrong to put it up so early. Then I went out for drinks with Shack and Gregger after the Mascot Challenge, which I clearly won.
They both said I was a crazy person, that it was WAY too early, and Shack said he doesn't put his up until mid-December. What, and not even get a full month out of it? I want a full month and a half of Christmas. Why wouldn't you? Doesn't the house feel so warm and cozy when the tree is plugged in?
Anyway, I was starting to feel pretty bad about myself until Shack confessed that he sometimes has up to 8 Christmas trees set up during the holidays. EIGHT!! An upstairs tree, a downstairs tree, a little one for Emily's room, and then about 4 or 5 others of varying height.
Who's the crazy one here?
And none of them are even 2-minute Christmas Trees.

2 TREE'S AT MOM'S HOUSE
My mom sets up two tree's at her house, one in the living room for when company comes for coffee and visits. One in the games room for when they are playing pool, darts, and what ever other games they get up to, it's nice, but she's got the time to do that. I still don't have my tree up, I think I threw it out last year after Xmas. If I didn't have a child, or family coming, I probably wouldn't even set one up this year to be honest with ya! So, good on you for getting into the spirit :D And.. a note to make you feel better, my girlfriend sets hers up the first weekend after Remembrance Day every year!
