Vuvuzela made the cut and Hottie of the day
So the Dictionary has a few new words to add: Vuvuzela being one of them. I don't mean to offend anyone but I found Soccer to be terribly boring before the Vevuzela, now it's boring and annoying.
And for this next topic some men might disagree.
Just recently a bunch of women in the LA area are fighting for their rights to be topless. LAPD has stated that it's indecent exposure. I wouldn't say a topless woman is indecent exposure but more of a driving hazard. In Ontario, women have won the right to go topless a while back and you don't see many women, if any doing it. Besides beaches and places like that, which is fine. I think it all narrows down to women wanting to be treated fair. (which I am not saying that we are not treated fairly) But, women before me have used their brains to get to where we are today, and equal in society with men. Their arguement is that men can do it so why can't we. Which all the power to ya and good on you for standing up for what you believe in! For many women it's all about pride. I don't feel that walking around with my shirt of gives me more pride than I already have. To each their own I guess. Even if it was legal here I certanly wouldn't walk downtown topless, that's just plain looking to be harassed. There are plenty of opinions on this topic, but in our society we put pornographic magazines behind the counter and only 19+ are allowed in strip joints and yet say to youth that it's ok to look at it on the streets. It all comes down to children being exposed to something that they shouldn't be, it's respect. Save it for your backyard or Bareass beach where we know that if we bring our children there that they might be exposed to it. No need to be walking out of a store with your child and accidentaly run into a topless woman, it's just unnecessary.

to be topless... or not....
The only comment that I would like to add is this. There are those women in Africa (or wherever) that are topless. It is part of their society. So it is no big deal. In our society it is a big deal because it is not the norm. If it was the norm, it wouldn't be a big deal. If all of a sudden it was legal and everyone did it. And I mean everyone... after about 2 days the novelty would wear off and it wouldn't be a big issue.
