I am so afflicted with Canada Complex (you know, when you glow with pride after any mention of a Canadian place, name, or when a Canadian does well south of the border) that I want to give a shout out to 22-year old Jayde Nicole. She's Playboy's Playmate of the Year for 2008- and she's from Ontario!


Jayde is Canada's first Playmate of the Year since 1982, when Shannon Tweed was honoured with the title.

My blogging has made a difference in our world. It was way back in October that I blogged, steaming mad, about the fact that there are no grocery stores open past 6 on a Sunday night in this city. Like I'm the only one who has no food in their fridge come Sunday! And it's hard to get moving until nighttime, depending on what went on Saturday night.
